#IWD2022: Our Highlights From Jane's International Women's Day Lunch

07 March 2022

By Kristen Daly

Women supporting other women? We don’t need a date to do it! But each year in March, International Women’s Day gives us gals the perfect opportunity to get together, uplift one another and look to the future of facing and breaking gender bias.

This #IWD2022, Showpo CEO and Founder Jane Lu gathered a group of incredible women for a long lunch at Sydney venue Mimi’s. These ladies - including our own inspiring leader Jane! - bring us joy with their passion, drive, resilience, creativity and desire to give back.

Across fields close to our hearts including fashion, beauty, social media and more, their work as entrepreneurs, leaders and influential public figures is truly badass. Without further ado, see our stylish lunch lineup and just a few reasons why these women rule.

After quitting her social media and marketing job to focus on TikTok, Millie has gained 1.3 million followers (and counting!) on the platform with her hilarious and too-real impressions of Aussie mums, teachers, retail workers and more.

Also the co-founder of shopping app Her Black Book, Julie is an Aussie entrepreneurial icon we’re endlessly inspired by.
