Homecoming Dresses

Q: What dresses are appropriate for homecoming?

First stop: your school’s dress code, lots have rules on length, straps or necklines, then clock whether your hoco’s casual or a bit dressier. After that, most homecoming dresses are short and fun: a mini, a fitted style or an A-line all work. Go for something you can move and dance in that still feels like you. Not sure? Ask your school for the guidelines, way better than getting turned away at the door.

Q: How early should I buy a homecoming dress?

A few weeks ahead if you can swing it. That gives your dress time to arrive, a proper try-on, and any little alterations before the night. If you’re closer to the date, check the shipping page for current delivery times, and leave a tiny buffer for a size swap just in case. Last-minute stress is not the vibe.

Q: What is the difference between prom and homecoming dresses?

Hoco dresses are usually shorter and more casual (minis and fun, playful styles), while prom goes long and formal with gowns and fancier fabrics. But it’s school-by-school, some homecomings are dressier than others. Follow your school’s energy and dress code, and wear the length that feels right for you.
