Women's Wedding Guest Outfits

Q: Can you wear separates to a wedding?

Absolutely. A matching top and maxi skirt set makes a chic alternative to a dress. Tailored wide-leg pants also work beautifully with a structured top or coordinating blazer . Keep the fabrics elevated and finish the look with slim heels and polished jewellery .

Q: What colours should I wear to a wedding in each season?

Soft pink and sage suit spring weddings beautifully. Summer calls for baby blue , lemon or a romantic floral print . Choose chocolate and wine for autumn celebrations. Black, navy and emerald bring a rich polished mood to a winter wedding .

Q: What colours should a wedding guest avoid?

White , ivory and very pale shades are usually best avoided unless the couple says otherwise. Be careful with colours that may photograph as bridal too. If the invitation includes a dress code or colour palette, let that guide your choice.
