So it’s your birthday. Another year has gone by and you’re wondering what you’ve done with your life and where the time has gone. But you’re also wondering what you’re going to do on this celebratory occasion that’s just for YOU! What will you wear? Who will you see? What will you eat?!
Well, some fast food chains believe that you should be celebrated and you are in fact, worthy of free food. Perhaps they feel sorry for you…you’re getting old and they feel obliged to provide the comfort food. But whatever the reason may be, who gives AF, free food is free food!
So, who participates and what do you get?
What you get: Free Birthday Boost Juice
When you get it: On the day of your birthday
What you have to do: Must be a registered ‘Vibe Club’ member and present this card on the day to show the date on the card matches the date you go
What you get: Free single fillet Bondi Burger Value Meal
When you get it: Available on your birthday and valid for 30 days
What you have to do: Must be registered to Oporto’s ‘Flame Rewards’ and show picture ID
What you get: Free muffin
When you get it: Anytime during your birthday month (obvs only able to redeem once)
What you have to do: Register as a member at least one month before your birthday
What you get: Free 6 inch sub and drink
When you get it: Three days before, on, or three days after your birthday
What you have to do: Must be a part of the ‘Eat Fresh Club’
What you get: Free churros or a $15 Churros Fiesta
When you get it: The day before, day of, or day after your birthday
What you have to do: Must be registered to the San Churro Loyalty Club Program (San Churro Socialite) and show valid photo ID
What you get: 4 pack Original Glazed doughnuts
When you get it: You will be sent a unique code via email which is valid for seven days
What you have to do: Must be subscribed to the ‘Inner Circle’ four weeks before your birthday and show your unique code and valid photo ID
What you get: One complimentary beverage ANY SIZE (not even joking – it’s in their Rewards Terms and Conditions if you don’t believe me)
When you get it: The rewards will appear on your Starbucks account the last day of the month prior to your birthday and valid for 60 days
What you have to do: Must have an activated Starbucks Card and show the barista on the day
What you get: Free kidz size ice-cream with one mix in
When you get it: Only available to redeem on your actual birthday
What you have to do: Must be a Cold Rock VIP member at least eight days before your birthday (an email with a free birthday ice-cream voucher will be sent approx. seven days before your birthday)
What you get: Free small standard coffee
When you get it: Your birthday voucher will be on your eSipper Card at the start of your birthday month and is valid for four weeks
What you have to do: Must be a part of the eSipper Loyalty Program
What you get: One free full-sized tea of your choice
When you get it: On the week of your birthday
What you have to do: Be a member of the Tea Society
What you get: A regular deli salad
When you get it: On or seven days after you birthday
What you have to do: Must be a member of the ‘Sumo Society’ and be subscribed to marketing communications. Note – must be a member for more than 14 days prior to your birthday
What you get: Regular Nando’s Meal; either regular ¼ chicken meal or any burger/wrap/pita meal with a regular side and drink
When you get it: You will receive an email at the start of your birthday month and can collection any time during that month
What you have to do: must have a verified PERi-Perks account and have made a transaction on that account in the last six months
Whilst this blog is all about the free food/drinks (and there is more this is just the 12 I chose), some select department stores also join in on the birthday celebrations with some pretty cool deals/discounts all for YOU! p.s most of these food chains are really generous and give you a pretty decent timeframe to redeem your birthday freebie. Obviously this doesn’t mean you can get multiple freebies throughout the time given, it just allows you to choose when you want to redeem it.
p.p.s maybe pick your fav place and go there on your actual birthday and then just slowly collect all your other rewards throughout the month. Who says birthday celebrations are just for one day?
p.p.p.s I did this on my birthday last year and got a free Oporto meal, Boost Juice, and muffin from Muffin Break. Later on in the week I got a free Subway meal!
