What do I wear to Fashion Week?

Fashion Week is the one event where overdressing does not exist. Everyone from editors to influencers to the girl who scored a last-minute ticket is being photographed the second they arrive. Your outfit needs to hold its own. A monochrome look with sharp tailoring reads confident and intentional. A bold print or colour clash says you get that fashion is supposed to be fun. Unexpected details like an asymmetric hem, exaggerated sleeves, or a corset belt over a blazer prove you know the rules well enough to break them. The front row gets the seats, but the street outside gets the photos.

What are some Fashion Week outfit ideas?

Balance impact with wearability, because you'll be on your feet between shows all day. A tailored co-ord set in a striking colour with pointed-toe boots and a micro bag is powerful without being complicated. Playing with proportions always catches a photographer's eye: oversized blazer over a mini dress, wide-leg trousers with a cropped top, or a voluminous maxi skirt with a fitted knit. Evening shows and after-parties call for a slip dress in satin or a one-shoulder midi with statement accessories. And the most photographed Fashion Week accessory of all time? Sunglasses. Indoors. Always.

How do I dress for London Fashion Week vs Paris vs Milan?

LFW is eclectic, bold, and unapologetically individual. The crowd loves colour, print mixing, and outfits that feel like they have a point of view. British weather means layering isn't just a styling choice; it's survival, so a statement coat over a killer outfit is practically an LFW tradition. Paris is where you bring the full drama: couture-inspired silhouettes, a red lip, and the attitude of someone who does this every season. Milan demands polished femininity, luxe fabrication, and the kind of elegance that makes you look like you arrived by water taxi even if you took the Tube to Heathrow twelve hours ago. Across all of them: wear something you'd never second-guess.
