Basic Mini Dresses

Q: Can I dress up a basic mini dress for a night out?

Absolutely. Try a ruched bodycon mini with slim heels and a small evening bag . Add statement earrings to a high-neck style, or wear an off-shoulder dress with a polished updo. A simple dress leaves plenty of room for your accessories.

Q: What underwear should I wear under a fitted mini dress?

Smooth, seamless underwear can help minimise visible lines beneath fitted jersey or ribbed styles. Match the shade to your skin under lighter colours. Check the dress in daylight and try sitting down before heading out, especially with a shorter hem.

Q: What shoes can I wear with a basic mini dress?

White trainers keep a fitted mini casual for coffee runs, while knee-high boots look cute with a long-sleeve style on cooler days. Heading out for dinner? Try kitten heels with a ruched mini and let the dress do its thing.
