Question 1

Can you wear yellow to a wedding?

Accepted Answer

Yellow is a lovely wedding-guest choice, as long as it's clearly not white or cream. A butter, lemon or mustard midi reads celebratory, sits well in outdoor light, and stands apart from the usual guest palette. Stick to a true yellow rather than the palest almost-ivory shade, so there's no mix-up with the bride. Finish with a neutral heel and one piece of gold jewellery , and you're set for the ceremony through to the dancefloor.

Question 2

Is butter yellow easy to wear?

Accepted Answer

Butter yellow is the easiest yellow there is. It's soft and low-contrast, closer to a cream than a bright, so it flatters widely and pairs like a neutral, think white, tan, denim and gold. It also goes either way: relaxed with flat sandals by day, dressed up with a heel for an event. If bright yellow feels like a lot, butter is the gentle route in, which is exactly why it's had such a moment. Style it tonally with creams and camels for a soft, put-together look.

Question 3

Are yellow midi dresses good for maternity?

Accepted Answer

Yellow midis are a great shout through pregnancy and after. Shirred, empire-line and wrap styles have plenty of give over a bump, and the midi length stays elegant as things change. Soft butter and pastel yellow look lovely in photos for a maternity shoot or a baby celebration, and stretchier fabrics like jersey keep you comfortable. Pair with flat sandals and you're sorted for the whole day, no fuss.

Question 4

How do I get the right size in a yellow midi dress?

Accepted Answer

Start with the Size Guide , which maps our measurements to each cut so you can choose with confidence, handy for fitted or shirred styles. If you're between sizes or want to try two, the Returns Policy keeps that easy. Yellow midis run sizes 4 to 20 and ship Australia-wide with same-day dispatch, with timings on the Shipping page.
