Question 1

Can I wear a knit dress in summer?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Choose a lightweight or open crochet knit that allows plenty of airflow. Sleeveless designs and halter necklines keep the look breezy, while mini lengths suit warmer days perfectly. Add sandals and keep your layers light.

Question 2

How do I wash a knit dress without stretching it?

Accepted Answer

Always check the care label first, as knit fabrics can vary. A gentle cold wash helps protect the fibres and shape. Skip hanging the dress while wet. Reshape it carefully then lay it flat to dry instead.

Question 3

What do I wear under a knit dress?

Accepted Answer

Lightweight knits can be clingy, so your underlayer game matters. For fitted styles, seamless shapewear and bras or bike shorts create a smooth silhouette without visible lines. If your knit is on the sheer side, a simple slip dress underneath in the same colour family keeps you covered without adding bulk. For cooler weather, thermal tights or fleece-lined leggings add warmth that’s invisible under the fabric. And here’s a game-changer: if static cling is driving you crazy, a quick spritz of hairspray on your tights works wonders.

Question 4

Are there plus size dress options at Showpo? Is there same day and express delivery in Australia?
