2018 Christmas Gift Guide | Ideas Fo’ Yo’ Mumma

03 December 2018

How To Be Perfect‘ – Holly Wainwright’s second novel should be on everyone’s summer reading list. It’s the perfect book for lazy days spent by the pool or at the beach, but remember the SPF cos’ you won’t be able to put it down.

TEA – I personally think you should give her a pack of yummy flavoured tear WITH the above book, she will need to de-stress from the silliness of the silly season!

Invisible Zinc – Protects her skin with the optimal amount of sun protection while also offering enough tint to hide any signs of too much silly season silliness (yes I am on a role now).

Maui Hair Mask – This creamy hair mask is infused with rich agave, hibiscus and pineapple extract. It’s gentle enough for the most fragile strands while helping to increase elasticity and helps strands resist breakage. A much-needed stocking-filler for most!

Soothe & Soak Bath Salts – This would be a super thoughtful gift for your mother-in-law and the jar is so bloody big, it should last her all year! The salt flakes (magnesium chloride) are absorbed through the skin, meaning farewell to sore muscles +  joints + hello to calm nerves + reduced systemic bodily stresses.

Jane Iredale Lipstick – My aunt loves these richly-pigmented colours as the formula is crazy long-wearing without being all ‘liquid lips’ cakey.

UNDER $100

Champs – No explanation needed.

Slides – As comfortable as her fave pair of thongs but 50x chicer.

Sparkle On Holiday Collection – Ever since I was a wee lass, my gran has been a huge fan of Elizabeth Arden, which is why I am so excited about giving her this insane blockbuster kit! Worth over $550, it’s basically rude not to buy it for the EA lover in your life.

Zoeva Spice Of Life Kit – The perfect kit for the mumma who likes makeup but would be terrified by a complicated 30+ shade palette. Zoeva pigments are always smooth and creamy, applying as effortlessly as your mum bakes your fave dish.

Pyjamas – Spoil someone with a pair of luxe and comfy PJs, guaranteed to make her feel like a million dollars. PLUS, the silk set, in particular, keeps you super cool in Australia’s sweaty summer weather.

Tom Ford Candle – Cos’ she is never going to spend the coin on herself so you should treat her life the kween she is. When she’s burnt it all, show her cute ways to use the house, I personally love popping succulents in them!

VS Sassoon Digital Sensor Dryer – The technology with this dryer is pretty cool – it maintains a uniform and constant hair safe temperature of 70°C, unlike traditional hairdryers that normally rely on high heat (up to 100°C) to dry hair.

Facial – Spoil her with the ultimate pampering sesh at this luxe Sydney salon.

Prada EDP – This is the first citrus to join Les Infusions de Prada, introducing a new scent memory to the collection that evokes the explosive sensation of a fresh mandarin. Perfect for the fresh fragrance lover in your life.

Ginger & Me Happy Box Collection – What mum doesn’t love a goodie box brimming with products that a) look pretty and b) actually work!? Answer: ZERO.
