Podcasts are basically taking over the world rn.
Not only are they informative and interesting, they’re just so damn convenient!
Bored on your morning commute? Or maybe you need something to zone out to while doing mindless work? Too easy, just pop in your earphones and listen to one of these addictive AF podcasts.
Here at Showpo HQ, we’ve been obsessing over podcasts lately, with our most recent discussions revolving around Dirty John – highly recommended if you’re into true crime, btw.
I’ve rounded up the Showpo team to give me their top must-hear podcasts, ranging from murder mysteries to pop culture and everything in between…
You’ve heard the old adage ‘when life gives you lemons, make lemonade’ – well, Jamie Morton did just that when he found out his father a written a terrible erotic novel. Instead of burying the thought in the back of his mind and pretending it didn’t exist – like most of us would – he turned it into a hilarious cringe-a-long podcast and enlisted the help of friends to read a chapter a week to the entire world.

Hosted by Reggie Osse, this podcast tells the story starting from his youth hustling in the Bronx, right up until his final days.

You’ve probably heard this one doing the rounds lately, and with good reason. This six-part series tells the story of Debra Newell and John Meehan’s toxic relationship while exploring themes of love, betrayal, deception, and domestic violence. It’s gripping from start to finish, and I’m definitely not surprised it’s been downloaded more than seven million times.
