40 Of The Best Beauty Products In The WORLD

15 November 2017

I like to think I know my shit when it comes to beauty. I spent a good 7(ish) years trialling things and working in the industry so I feel like I SURELY must be more knowledgeable than your standard product-loving lass. So I thought I’d list out the best products I’ve ever tried, that other people tend to agree with. Rules to get on this list were; internationally available, used consistently, would re-purchase, and actually does what it says it bloody well will.

So let’s get into why these prodz are awesome and links where you can get your mitts on them…

  1. RCMA No Colour Powder – The cheap AF translucent powder is heralded by beauty bloggers/vloggers all over the dang world.
  2. Lemonhead Spacepaste – Glitter makeup that’s ACTUALLY mess-free!? I know, sounds like steaming pile of BS. But this shit is fo’ real; it’s a full coverage, ultra-thick concentrated glitter paste that’s super easy to use.
  3. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer – The most universally neutral shade for all skin tones. This bronzer is perfect for bronzing up your face and contouring.
  4. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – Dupes just won’t do, nothing is comparable to this little wonder of bronze-y beauty. Sweep on your cheeks for a look that screams ‘oh don’t mind me, I’ve had some delicious sun’.
  5. Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops – For a ‘lit-from-within’ glow, you can’t go past a few drops of this shit. It literally makes you glow like you’ve never glowed. I use under foundation but if subtle isn’t in your nature, plonk it on after.
  6. Milani Baked Blush – This coral shade is universally flattering, really pigmented, and blends like a boss. I’ve seen it on a bunch of skin tones and it ALWAYS looks amazing.
  7. Ofra Highlighter  – There are so many snatched highlighters on the market so the reason I’m including this one is the different shades it offers. If you want to target a single shade just dip a smaller brush onto it directly, or do what I do and mix them all together for an intense glow.
  8. Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist – Kimmie K uses it to get that ‘glow’ and it really does make your skin look insane. Spritz on a bare face or over makeup for the perfect amount of luminosity.
  9. Social Eye Lashes – Trim them a bit and wiggle them into submission for the fluffiest looking lashes you can get for cheap.
  10. Arbonne Brow Gel – Set and fill in your brows with this long-time fave. It’s super pigmented and the brush is the perfect size for grooming.
  11. Stila Color Correcting Palette – You’ll hit pan on this bad boy quicker than any other product, I promise. Correct everything from redness to dark circles, using this palette and a concealer brush before foundation application.

  13. Milani Bold Eyeliner – This shit literally doesn’t move unless you attack it with a hella lot of micellar water, it’s true black and the pen-like tip makes application easy.
  14. Nars Creamy Concealer – Great coverage without cakiness, you can’t ask for more from your concealer! Buy in a lighter shade for your under-eye area and your skin shade for blemishes.
  15. Tom Ford Pink Dust – The prettiest nude shade you’ll ever have on your smacker. The pinky undertones suit everyone and the gorg case makes putting it on a real treat.
  16. Kylie Mary Jo K – The most insanely perfect red liquid lipstick you’ll ever use. Just make sure you exfoliate your lips first or you’ll get a wee bit flaky.
  17. Revlon Lipstick – With over 50 shades to choose from, a silky smooth finish, and great price-point; these lipsticks are a handbag essential. I’m particularly fond of ‘black cherry’ when I’m feeling vampy.

  19. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – I mean I WISH this foundation wasn’t so bloody good as it ain’t cheap, but it really is an amazing product that leaves your skin looking ridiculously good.
  20. Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation – This is another amazing foundation and costs a fraction of the GA one, it leaves your skin super dewy so it’s not for my matte loving gals out there, but if you love the dew, you’ll love this.
  21. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – There are SO many sponges on the market now ,so it’s hard to know what sets them apart. I love the different surfaces of this one as it allows you to blend your product in seamlessly, all over your head.

  24. Colourpop Eyeshadow – If you prefer to curate your own collection of individual eyeshadow colours (and don’t want to spend a lot), CP is where it’s at. You won’t compromise on pigment and there’s like a billion shades.
  25. Mary Kay After Sun Gel – Listen, sometimes we accidentally get a bit too much sun, even though we KNOW we shouldn’t But no point dwelling, just get some of this deliciously cooling gel on your rig for instant relief. Kris Jenner swears by it and so do I.
  26. Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Tan – For all of my brave bitches who like a deep, rich shade of tan; look no further than this daring fellow. Only con is that it gets a bit patchy but the colour is unparalleled.
  27. ModelCo Tan Removing Soap – Guys this thing actually works. Hide it from your boyf as this little pink bar should not be confused as standard soap. Simply rub on patchy old tan for an 80% removal rate.

  32. L’OCCITANE Almond Milk Concentrate – Formulated with powerful almond extracts, this deliciously smooth body cream helps the skin to be visibly smoother and firmer, while providing 48 hours of hydration. If your skin is super dry, add a few drops of oil to enhance the hydration.
  33. FOREO Luna Mini 2 – Unlike the bristled competitors in the cleansing device market, the FOREO silicone head offers a non-abrasive deep cleanse that makes your skin feel fresh AF.
  34. GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment – I don’t know how but this little magic pot is the best thing I’ve ever used on acne. It literally seems to suck blemishes from your pores. I use it as a mask and spot treatment on the reg.
  35. Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask – I smear this on when my skin is feeling and looking like shite (i.e dehydrate AF) for instant plump and smooth skin. Use prior to makeup for the best skin everrrrr.
