Welcome back guys. How was everyone’s NY? Bet there were a few sore heads around the past few days huh…
Mine sure was.
So along with screeching at the fireworks, an obligatory hug with everyone and COPIOUS amounts of champagne; NYE is generally defined by things we want to achieve in the new year.
A fresh start and all that.
So these have aptly been named ‘resolutions’ and many of us make them year after year to little or no success. I mean, it just isn’t that realistic to aim to read a novel a week now, is it?
Nor are many of them and below I’ve popped a list of 10 common resolutions and a more realistic outcome of each one. Brutal and honest, just the way you like.
Common Resolution 1: Get SUPER fit.
Common Resolution 2: Be the life of the party.
Common Resolution 3: Make a real effort in dressing for work.
Common Resolution 4: Eat well.
The second half….
Common Resolution 5: Save money.
Common Resolution 6: Learn a new skill or hobby.
Common Resolution 7: Lose weight.
Common Resolution 8: Get organised.
Common Resolution 9: Cut down on alcohol intake.
Common Resolution 10: Live life to the fullest (and all that hippy shit).
So which of the above is on your list for the year? Obviously, this post is not to be taken seriously, it’s very cheeky. If you’ve made some resolutions, good on you! Just make sure you work towards them slowly and have achievable goals, that way they’re way more likely to stick. And on that note, I’ll get back to my SECOND book (yes I’ve already read one this year) and leave you all to it.
