Our Guide To Sydney’s Best Brunch Spots

Brunch isn't a meal, it's a lifestyle

Who doesn’t love a good brunch with the girls and what better way to catch up on the week’s goss than to find the perfect place to ‘gram about too? We’ve found all the best cafes from the inner city to the Sydney ‘burbs so you can steer clear from your ‘usual’ and wow your pals with a perfect (and well researched) pick for your next brunch date.

City and surrounding

The Grounds of Alexandria

You know, and I know this is Sydney’s not so hidden paradise but it is too good not to mention. My personal fave is to grab a coffee and some baked goods and find a spot near the fountain to take in this delight of a place. Best part if you’re visiting on a weekend you’ll be able to scope out their amazing markets too!

Cuckoo Callay

Located in Newtown and Surry Hills is a little slice of heaven known as Cuckoo Callay. This oasis serves not only amazing food but your fur babies are encouraged to come along. Try the ‘I got 99 Problems but Chia Ain’t One’ – you can thank us later, gal.

Baby Coffee Co

This place prides itself on a Sunday spritz, and if that doesn’t scream weekend vibes then their menu sure will. They even love pink as much as we do – you’ll definitely have those photos ready for the gram.

Bills, Surry Hills

If ricotta hotcakes are your kinda thing, you can thank us later for recommending Bills for your next brunch date. The cafe is every bit elegant but also a minimalist’s dream brunch locale.

Concrete Jungle Cafe

With food almost too pretty to eat (almost!) Concrete Jungle is your new urban oasis for smoothie bowls to match whatever colour you’re wearing.

60 mins (or less) from the CBD

Wolfe & Co

This could be The Hills’ best-kept secret, or maybe I’m just biased. This Dural based cafe is well worth the drive. The best part is they have an all-day menu so you can sleep in and still get your buttermilk pancake fix. It’s a win-win.

Flowerchild Cafe

Located in both Warringah and Chatswood, Flowerchild cafe is a hidden gem for your next brekkie date. Not only do they serve The Grounds coffee and pastries, but their breakfast menu is also not one to be missed, especially the breakfast bowl. You’re welcome.

Burnt Orange, Mosman

If you’re looking for something cozy, escape to Burnt Orange for breakfast in a historic clubhouse. Enjoy the stunning water views from the balcony while sipping on a mimosa. They’ve even got a little boutique attached for your homeware and gift needs.

The Boathouse, Balmoral

In need of vitamin sea and also a damn good espresso? We hear you! The Boathouse combines this and more.  Rock up early to grab a good table and start your beach day right.

Good Fella Coffee

These fellas sure know how to serve a damn good coffee + bagel combo, trust us it’s worth crossing the bridge for.

Henri Marc

If you’re looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of #citylife, look no further than Henri and Marc for breakfast goodness. With its industrial design, native flowers and Reuben Hills coffee you’ll be oh so relaxed.
