Before I was allowed to wear makeup, I read in a Trixie Belden book that the heroine actually pinched her cheeks to get that ‘flush’ all the movie stars had. So I did it too, but it lasted for about 4 seconds before disappearing 🙄 Then I used to crush my mum’s old lipsticks and mix them with Vaseline, to create my own pink pastes to smear on my cheeks. Kinda looked oily and clown-like but I was a determined wee lass. At high school I applied questionable formulas of blush in questionable shades to an offensive amount of pigment.
Thank goodness I am now an adult who knows how to apply blush and how to choose one with a creamy, blendable formula in a flattering and subtle hue.

Such a pretty pink, the powder stain is talc-free so it never clings to fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve never met an It Cosmetics product I didn’t love and this is no exception.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blush
So dumb but I’ve literally had this blush for a year and I’ve never used it! It’s to pretty to ruin 😫 But given my love for the creamy version, I know I’ll be a fan when I finally decide to
ruin use it.
