You'd probably forgotten most!

A – Aniston is single again.

And we all let out a collective, “nooooo!” Hollywoods’ golden girl Jennifer Aniston, and Justin Theroux announced their separation in February after two years of marriage. Theroux later told the New York Times that their separation was “gentle” and “there was no animosity” which we are glad to hear. Let’s hope 2019 is Jen’s year to find true love, we all want Jen to be happy!

B – Bieber surprised us all with engagement to Hailey Baldwin.

Some of us were still grieving Jelena when Bieber took to Instagram to announce his passionate love for model Hailey Baldwin. The young couple had only been dating for like three minutes before they got engaged in the Bahamas. We all cried ourselves to sleep that night at the news that Biebs was now off the market for….ever.

C – Chicago West was born.

Arguably the worlds most famous celeb couple, affectionately known as ‘Kimye ’ Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed a baby girl to their family on January 15 through a surrogate. Their decision to use a surrogate was because Kim revealed she could “bleed to death” if she carried another child. Chicago West is the sister of North and Saint. What will the name of their next offspring be?

D – ‘DAMN’ by Kendrik Lamar made history.

He’s the first rapper to win the Pulitzer Prize, and the first musician outside of the classical or jazz genres to win this prestigious award. You don’t have to be humble about this one Kendrick.

E – ‘Everything is Love’ album released by Beyonce and Jay Z.

The Carters released nine-track album ‘Everything is Love’ with absolutely zero warning. Like everything else this powerhouse couple do, it was a critical success.

F – Fortnite stole all our boyfriends and best friends.

It’s the video game designed for 12-year olds that’s become the obsession of boys, big and small, with over 200m players worldwide. While all our men are indoors playing video games, it gave us more time to online shop, so we aren’t complaining.

G –Gerard Butler was one of the celebrities who lost his Malibu home in the Californian fires.

Gerard Butler shared a series of videos and photos on Instagram of the devastation the wildfires caused. 31 people died in the fires that swept across the Southern Californian Coast, and many celebrities lost their homes, including Miley Cyrus.

H – 5H announced their split.

After six years together (minus Camila who left the group in 2016) Fifth Harmony announced their indefinite hiatus to pursue solo careers. They thanked their “Harmonizers” for all their support over the years.

I – Incredibles 2 hit the big screens.

Fourteen years after the original Incredibles movie, the sequel FINALLY came out and changed all our lives for the better. It made 182.7m on its opening weekend. We hope this means there’ll be a third one in the franchise.

J – Justin Bieber got married!?!?

We are all still catching our breath from how quickly Biebs tied the knot to model Hailey Baldwin. Just months after they shocked us with their engagement announcement on Instagram on July 7, they were married on the 13th of September at the New York City Courthouse. We’re all waiting for our invitations to their Religious Ceremony, which has not yet been officially announced.

K – Kiki do you love me?

It’s the lyric that put Drake’s first girlfriend Kiki on everyone’s lips and the viral dance move that got us all jumping out slow moving cars. The first line of ‘In My Feelings’ has now become an iconic dance move that’s got us all jumping out of our seats.

L – Laurel Vs. Yanny – which do you hear?

Remember the dress saga of 2015? Well in 2018, the internet gave us a four-second audio clip that had us all divided. Even Ellen DeGeneres Tweeted saying that “Literally everything at my show just stopped to see if people hear Laurel or Yanny. I hear Laurel.” Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree!

M – Monologues just got interesting.

Kanye West met with Trump and delivered a 10-minute monologue that sparked controversy and attention in true Kanye style. Yeezy’s monologue touched on mental health, prison reform, making more jobs in America and the 13th Amendment. We love that you stand up for what you believe in Yeezy!

N – Nick Jonas got engaged.

Nick Jonas’ engagement to Priyanka Chopra was celebrated in glamour with a cake that apparently required three men to lift the mammoth 15kg engagement cake topped with 24-carat gold decorations!

O – October 15, Prince Harry and Megan Markle announced they were having a baby!

Due in Spring 2019. We cannot wait.

P – Prince Harry and Megan Markle tied the knot.

At St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, they became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Saturday 19th May. They were surrounded by 600 guests including the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Sir Elton John, George and Amal Clooney and David and Victoria Beckham.

Q –Queen’s biography turned into a movie.

It’s one of the greatest Karaoke tunes of all time – Bohemian Rapsody – and it’s now a movie. Bohemian Rhapsody follows the life of singer Freddie Mercury from the British rock band Queen.

R- Rihanna dressed as the Pope and we all confessed our sins.

She’s the longtime queen of the Met Gala, and once again she did not disappoint!

Riri or, let’s call her ‘The Bad Girl Riri Pope,’ co-hosted the gold standard of parties year with Amal Clooney dressed as none other than THE POPE. Did you know that tickets to this coveted event are said to cost a measly $30,000 each? What a bargain right?!

S – Stormi Webster was born on Feb 1st.

We all held our breath waiting for the arrival of Kylie Jenner’s baby, Stormi Webster. Kylie Jenner somehow managed to keep her whole pregnancy very secret, which made the arrival of baby Stormi with baby Daddy Travis Scott EVEN MORE awaited. The self-made billionaires first photo of baby Stormi became the MOST LIKED INSTAGRAM PHOTO EVER.

T – True Kardashian was born.

Khloe Kardashian gave birth to her first baby, True Kardashian. This was just two days after videos surfaced of her boyfriend and baby Daddy Tristan Thompson allegedly cheating on her with multiple different women. Khloe was a trooper not letting the videos affect her positive mood and Tristan was by her side for the birth. We love your strength Khloe!

U – The US open provided the drama we’ve all come to expect from Tennis.

Cartoonist Mark Knight mocked Serena Williams’ tantrum in a meme that went viral. Serena Williams ‘spat the dummy’ at umpire Carlos Ramos and outrage flared up over sexism. Was she treated unfairly? The word is still out.

V – Lo.V e is dead.

Channing Tatum and Jenna broke up after a 9-year marriage.

W – White House announced that President Donald Trump was freeing Alice Johnson.

Thanks to Kim Kardashian.

X –eXtraordinarily, Roseanne’s Tweet got the entire show cancelled.

The hit comedy show had only just made a comeback, when ABC decided to abruptly cancel her show due to a series of racist Tweets by Roseanne Barr.

Y – Yodelling Walmart Kid.

11-year-old Mason Ramsey, clad with a bowtie and cowboy boots became a viral video sensation after he yodelled ‘Lovesick Blues’ in an Illinois Walmart. What came next? The Ellen show of course, followed by a performance at Coachella just days later. Is this Justin Bieber 2.0?

Z – Zuckerberg found himself in the middle of a Facebook data scandal.

The Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data scandal happened in early 2018 when Facebook was alleged to have been harvesting personal data
