Peak 2000s energy
Nailing Y2K is all about the key ingredients. Start low, low-rise jeans or a denim mini, then add a baby tee, a corset or a halter on top. Layer a mesh top over a bandeau, throw on a cargo skirt or cargos, and pile on the sparkle, sequins, rhinestones, metallics, the more the better. For a Y2K party or a rave, go all-out: a going-out top, a skort, butterfly clips and tinted sunnies. Accessories seal it, a chunky belt, a tiny baguette bag, and platform or kitten heels. There are basically no rules here, except commit to the bit.
