Sorority Rush Outfits 2026

The Rush Dress Code at a Glance
Match your outfit to the round, keep it comfortable enough for long days on your feet, and save your dressiest look for Pref. Every piece you need is in the sorority rush dresses edit, in sizes 0 to 16.
What Sorority Rush Is, and When It Happens

Timing depends on your school. Big Southern schools like the University of Alabama run fall recruitment in August, aka the whole Bama Rush wave that took over your For You page, while plenty of other campuses do spring recruitment in January instead. Check your school's Panhellenic calendar for the real dates, then sort your sorority recruitment outfits early, because the week sneaks up fast and shopping mid-round is nobody's idea of a good time. Didn't get a bid during formal recruitment? Not the end of the story. Most campuses run continuous open bidding, or COB, later in the term, so you've got another shot. To get in on it, just register through your school's Panhellenic council before the deadline, which usually lands months before recruitment week even starts.

2026 Rush Outfit Trends
The big 2026 rush trends are soft florals, playful gingham and polka dots, wrap silhouettes, and gentle pastel palettes. Feminine, preppy, and easy-to-wear is the whole mood, so a pretty floral mini is the safe-but-cute standard, while gingham and polka dots feel fresh and a little retro for the earlier rounds. Stick to one print at a time so it reads polished rather than busy.
